My story in a nutshell...

I was born in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx.

I attended the High School of Art and Design and went on to study illustration at the School of Visual Arts.

I have lived in and around New York City most of my life but I’ve always been drawn to places that are green and quiet, which is why I packed up, moved out, and now live in the breath-takingly beautiful state of Utah.

I love the paintings of John Waterhouse, John Singer Sargent, and Jean-Léon Gerome, as well as the illustrations of Arthur Rackham, Edmund Dulac and Alphonse Mucha.

I find the writings of CS Lewis, John Steinbeck and Brandon Sanderson exciting; the films of Akira Kurosawa, Alfred Hitchcock and Ridley Scott gripping; and the music of Johnny Cash, B.B. King and Metallica consistently able to rock my world.

I am happily married for 25 years, I have two beautiful daughters, and I share my home with one guinea pig and a 30 year old python named Bonecrusher: The Next Generation.

I am joyously addicted to coffee, I am semi-lethal in archery, I am compulsive in chess playing and I am jealous of birds. But, far above all these things I dream of being Zorro.

Life is good... EN GARDE!
